Unique hotel, fairly clean, with really kind and nice staff on request by the property chef. The rooms with twin beds and a drink and a large balcony. Marvellous and brilliant location - close to Herod's Gate...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and we appreciated having a kettle and fridge in the room. The hotel facilities were great, including a restaurant that served excellent regional cuisines and the best pizza we've had in this city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with useful tips and even booking a cheap taxi to the airport for us. The location was ideal, being located in a quiet Arabic district in East Jerusalem, just a short walk from the bustling Old City. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and we enjoyed it every morning.
Almost perfect.

To the team at Azzahra Hotel .. Thanks. This little hotel not far from Herod's Gate is a gem. The service is second to none! I travelled through out Europe this past trip and stayed in some great places but this Arab run hotel in East Jerusalem was by far the most pleasant stay of all when consider value for money but also what I liked. This place deserves the reviews it gets. So 9 out of 10 from me.

The room was a nice size and newly renovated, with central heating, a personal safe, and a multi-channel TV, making it very convenient. The staff was helpful and attentive. The central location of this family-run hotel was a bonus. We had a wonderful stay at Azzahra Hotel.

Closeness to the main attractions. Great value for money. Friendly staff
The bathroom could do with an extractor fan as there's no window. Fridge needs inspecting as periodically makes noise

As a single woman traveling alone I felt very well taken care of here. The staff was kind and attentive. They were also extremely helpful when I lost my phone the night before. I ate dinner at the restaurant several nights and the food was very good.
The hotel is a short walk to the Old CIty. The neighborhood right around the hotel is not the best and I initially felt uncomfortable walking around alone. Once I got used to it it was fine.
